Feeding Ministry in the Philippines: Showing God’s Love
In July, Light & Hope for the Philippines held a Feeding Ministry for families in need. Because of generous supporters and prayer, our team served children and parents who face hunger each day. This outreach showed God’s love in a simple and caring way.
Feeding Children in the Philippines
During the event, 51 children received a hot and healthy meal. For many, this was a rare gift. Hunger is a daily problem in these communities. Even one meal can bring strength and hope. Children smiled as they ate, and volunteers were encouraged by what they saw.
Helping Families With Grocery Packs
We also gave grocery packs to 23 families. These groceries helped parents feed their children for several days. This support reduced stress and brought comfort. Families knew they were not forgotten.
Bible Teaching for Children and Adults
The Feeding Ministry also shared God’s Word. Children learned about God’s love through simple lessons. Adults received prayer and encouragement from Scripture. Food and faith were shared together, helping the whole family.
Prayer and Personal Connection
Our team spent time talking and praying with families. We prayed for health, work, and daily needs. Joy and peace filled the gathering. These moments helped build trust and lasting relationships.
A Ministry That Cares for the Whole Person
This Christian Feeding Ministry met both physical and spiritual needs. Food helped open hearts. God’s Word brought comfort and strength. By caring for body and spirit, the ministry made a lasting difference.
