🎉 Vacation Bible School – Baguio City, Philippines
What a joy it was to see so many smiling faces at the Vacation Bible School we helped sponsor in Baguio City, located about 150 miles (245 km) north of Manila. The children enjoyed uplifting Bible lessons, fun activities, and meaningful moments of fellowship. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who poured their hearts into preparing, teaching, mentoring, and encouraging the next generation—and future leaders of the Church!
🎉 A Milestone Moment: Women’s Conference Draws 200+
Theme: Christian Ladies as Missionaries
We are overjoyed to share that more than 200 women gathered in
Sibagat Del Sur for a powerful time of fellowship, testimony, and mutual
encouragement! Light & Hope for Philippines was honored to help
sponsor this inspiring event. Many attendees expressed how deeply
moved they were by the uplifting messages and the sense of unity. A
heartfelt thank you to everyone—especially the dedicated men and
women of Sibagat Del Sur—who helped make this unforgettable
gathering possible
💸First Funding Distribution: A Vision in Action
We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone—our first funding
distribution is complete! Thanks to your generous support, essential
resources were delivered directly to children and families, providing
food, medical care, clothing, and even some fun toys! This is the impact
your giving makes possible—thank you for being a part of this journey!
🎂Birthday Blessings
This month, we had the privilege of celebrating the birthdays (May/June)
of several of our sponsored and non-sponsored children—and what a
joy it was! Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide
cake, drinks, and thoughtful gifts, making each child feel truly special
and deeply loved. The following children celebrated their birthdays:
Escarlet, Esteven, Gilbert, Chaya, Mera, and Nathan
📅Upcoming Events:
🎒Backpack Distribution (July)
We are excited to kick off our July Backpack Distribution! Your support
ensures that children receive the school supplies they need to succeed
in their studies.
🥪Feeding Program (August)
Our Feeding Program continues to provide hot meals to children,
offering not just nourishment but also a sense of community. We also
delivered grocery packages to families in need, along with Bible
teachings to inspire spiritual growth.
🍎 Funding Distribution (July)
Through your generosity, we are able to distribute essential resources
this month, helping children and families with food, medical care, and
other basic needs.
